“Together we can change the world!” That’s the belief of the Free The Children Organization. A world where the smallest people make the biggest difference. It’s the largest network of children helping children! International child rights activist Craig Kielburger started this organization at the amazing age of 12 years old, back in 1995. He encouraged an entire generation to “stand up and make their voices heard”. His powerful messages and incredible speeches have empowered millions of youth to show the world they have a voice and that their voice is important.
Free The Children makes a difference every year by Me To We trips, Adopt a village projects, We Day and plenty more! Me to We trips “transforms people into world changers, one action and experience at a time”. Adopt a village projects “lift communities out of poverty — one school, one medical clinic, one clean water well at a time”. We Day is “the movement of our time – a movement of young people leading local and global change”. With plenty of different speeches, movements, and international projects, Free The Children is a powerful organization in our world. It all started with a thought, which became an idea, which became a small project, which inspired people, and finally became a global phenomenon.
