For my Look Good, Do Good, Feel Good video, I chose to do a video about anti-bullying. I chose this because, as it is also my platform, I believe that everyone deserves to have a fair shot at life without being put down. No matter how you dress, what you look like, who you’re friends with, shouldn’t affect whether you will be teased or not. I think that life is hard enough without constant ridicule. Bullying is a huge problem in our society, and people need to become more aware of it, so we can stop it faster! Some facts about bullying from stopabully.ca

  • One in seven Canadian children aged 11 to 16 are victims of bullying
  • 25% of children in grades 4 to 6 have been bullied
  • Adults who were bullied as children are more likely to suffer from depression in adulthood.
  • 25% of girls and 17% of boys have witnessed online harassment

There is so much going on right infront of our eyes that we are blind to see. Bullying takes places in every city, in every school, and in our daily lives. We need to put a stop to it, and make everyone feel important! I believe that being different is what makes life so great, there’s no one like you, and that should be celebrated, not put down. Stand up to bullying! You are the change you want to see!

p.s. Please vote for my video for the LGDGFG Aveda Video Challenge!
